Stark and plain and in need of ethnic trinkets, this Virginia newcomer promises something different for the suburbs: Ethiopian food. It offers an extensive menu, but the food suffers as a result. We tried the lamb laga tibs and the chicken stew, doro wat. Neither came up to par. You may find the side dishes such as stewed cabbage or yellow lentils much more pleasing.
