On occasional weekend nights, a Giriot (a cross between a musician and a historian) from a West African musical clan performs traditional music on the Kora, a 22-string, guitar-like instrument. Shows start at around 7 p.m. and run through 10 p.m.

Great traditional Ethiopian food. No utensils -- food is to be mopped up off platters by a spongy "bread-like" substance. Instead of ordering off the menu, ask for a combination platter (or vegetarian combo platter) for your party. It has a bit of everything and they'll make enough for everyone in your group.
