GEORGIA INFO

ATLANTA 2005 - ETHIOPIAN SOCCER TOURNAMENT
was held July 4 - 9th 2005

ESFNA - Ethiopian Sport Federation of Northern America organizes this annual tournament.

ESFNA chose Atlanta to celebrate our 22nd annual tournament. This year, following the tremendous success we experienced in Seattle, WA, we have secured the world-class GA Dome stadium as our event venue. This air-conditioned stadium will allow our players to display their talents on an outstanding field turf, and will also allow our guests to enjoy their time in comfort and style. Those who celebrated with us in Seattle, are in for an even more festive atmosphere with the legendary Haile Gebresellassie being our special guest of honor. Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to celebrate our collective Ethiopian heritage in this one-of-a-kind city and stadium.

In Atlanta, we will have the legendary footballer Ato Seyoum Abate and the unmatched sports journalist Ato Demessie Damte. Also, we are thrilled to have the "Emperor" Haile Gebreselassie as our special guest in a city where he won an Olympic gold medal.
